Imke is a business attorney focusing her practice on advising small businesses, emerging companies and start-ups in transactions and business disputes.

Imke has over ten years experience in a wide variety of corporate and finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, asset based finance and other commercial matters for domestic and international clients.

Before opening her own law office, Imke practiced for ten years at 2 New York City law firms where she represented a variety of domestic and foreign corporate clients, international development banks and national financial institutions.

In addition, Imke is a divorce and family law attorney and from time to time participates in the Volunteer Attorney Program of the New York Unified Court System by giving New Yorkers free legal advice on New York family law.

Imke graduated from the Free University of Berlin and the New York University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York (admitted 1999, Registration #2986636) and qualified to practice law in Germany (admission suspended due to non residency).
